Will holds a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a licensed professional engineer (with emphasis on materials engineering) in Texas and Georgia. He has over 10 years’ experience in the midstream and upstream oil and gas industry, with a particular focus on materials and corrosion, high pressure high temperature (HPHT) applications, fatigue/fracture mechanics, and blended hydrogen services. Throughout his career, Will has been active in technical groups responsible for industry research and defining engineering best practice such as PRCI (Pipeline Research Council International) and API (American Petroleum Institute).
Will began his career as a metallurgical engineer with Spectra Energy (natural gas transmission), supporting new construction, pipeline integrity, and regulatory compliance. He subsequently served 8 years with Chevron as a Lead Materials Engineer specializing in subsea equipment and HPHT production systems. In 2021, Will moved to Secured Transportation Services, where he established a quality assurance program for design, fabrication, and maintenance of equipment used for transport of nuclear material. Concurrently, he also gained experience with Enbridge as a consultant focusing on hydrogen blending for natural gas transmission pipelines. Will joined SteegeXP in October 2022 and brings valuable materials engineering, operational, quality assurance, and project management experience, complementing the company’s North America energy adjusting service offering.
