Taís is an accomplished Naval Architect and Marine Engineer from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil, and brings over 10 years of experience within the oil and gas industry, including extensive expertise in offshore support vessel design and operation, and Classification society rules.

Taís pivoted her career to energy loss adjusting in 2023, and has experience across a breadth of energy claims, including loss of production, construction and machinery breakdown claims, with specific focus on Brazil.

Taís joined SteegeXP as an energy loss adjuster in September 2025.
