Luis holds a degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM in Mexico City), along with an MBA and a master´s degree in Project Management, both from the Mexico Technology University (UNITEC at Mexico City).

He has over 12 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, having commenced his career as a drilling engineer. Subsequent roles included project development, field operations and management, for drilling service, drilling technology and production technology companies. In addition, Luis has four years’ experience as both a forensic engineer and complex claims adjuster for losses spanning the wind, solar, power generation and industrial/manufacturing industries in Mexico and across Latin America.

Luis joined SteegeXP to enhance our bilingual adjusting service to international and domestic insurer clients, for complex energy and technical losses in Mexico and across Latin America.
