Dirk is a Civil Engineering graduate from Purdue University (USA), with over ten years of experience in the energy industry. Eight of those years were spent providing construction and installation engineering expertise on multiple major oil and gas projects, where he was involved in all stages of the project life cycle; from FEED to execution and completion.

In 2015, Dirk became an adjuster and has been able to apply his engineering and project management experience towards the handling of a variety of operational and construction insurance claims. Dirk has also been involved in the group’s Expert Witness work, with a focus on installation engineering and construction. Dirk transferred to the Dubai Office in 2017 and has become well known in the Middle East and India for his effective handling of claims both Onshore and Offshore.
