Following an early career at sea, Nigel gained a bachelor’s degree in Nautical Studies before joining the Average Adjusting profession in London in 1983. After working in Sydney and then Manila, Nigel returned to London to join the energy loss adjusting profession in 1992. Seeking a new challenge in 2012, Nigel relocated to Singapore and has since handled a broad range of offshore construction, offshore property, control of well, shipyard and port claims, and associated consequential loss claims.

As an Expert Witness, Nigel provides expert opinion on a range of issues relying on his career of over 40 years as an Adjuster. During his long career in adjusting, Nigel has acquired extensive experience and expert knowledge of handling complex energy and marine claims globally and has given oral evidence as an Expert Witness on adjusting practice and claim valuation matters in the UK, US, and Singapore. His evidence has been presented to Courts in writing and by video recording, and Nigel has appeared in person in the High Court of Singapore.
